Welcome to SHARDA VIDYA MANDIR and greetings on behalf of all of us here. Set up as a foundation school, SVM since its inception in 1987, with a handful of students has evolved into a senior secondary school with CBSE affiliation. Today we have about 1700 students from class Nursery to Std. XII in a beautiful and well-maintained campus. We have registered a gradual and continuous growth, the emphasis is on the qualitative rather than the quantitative one.
There has been a steady increase in the number of students, teaching staff, facilities on campus, academic and extracurricular activities propelling our march forward. We have a constant and unquenchable thirst for development which has made us a cut above the rest and has enabled us to create a niche for ourselves in the educational arena of Bhopal. Driven by an inherent urge for achieving excellence, our staff members work in unison for the attainment of a singular goal. We are fortunate to be continuously guided by our founder chairman Shri M. Natarajan IPS Retd. who served as DG of police Madhya Pradesh
A school is widely acclaimed and becomes well reputed primarily by the success and contribution of its alumni to the society and secondarily by the results produced in the board exam. Both these are closely related to the efforts of the faculty members of whom we are extremely proud. It is heartening to know that our alumni are doing well and the results of the board exams are comparable to some of the better-known schools of the state
No man is totally perfect. So is the case with our institution. With a certain degree of candidness, I would like to disclose that there is a void in the matter of forging new links with the prospective parents and new acquaintances. We have not been able to convey and communicate our achievements and accomplishments in an embellished way. Therein lies our weakness and in the weakness lies our humility of not blowing our trumpet. Like the beautiful butterfly that emerges from the protected walls of the cocoon so also our tremendous achievements unfold themselves without much of a fanfare. In the fast changing scenario and with the moves in the right direction we are determined to secure our well-deserved position in the galaxy of great schools.
As Aristotle has said "we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit". To enable our march towards excellence we consider your valuable suggestions and guidance as a matter of utmost importance. On the basis of priority, your comments will undoubtedly be the foremost to contribute in no small measure for our self-improvement and further development. Please write to the chairman@svmbhopal.net and do let us know if you are planning to come to our campus. It will be a pleasure to meet you.

Education, besides being the basic need of a human being, is the most treasured possession one can ever have. It is the key which can open many doors of human development.
Realizing this Sharda Vidya Mandir has earned recognition as a conservatory where each child with her/his unique character is nurtured, cared for, loved, understood and trained to acquire gradually a more perfect sense of responsibility with unwavering courage and perseverance. Our aim is the holistic development and nurturing of the unique qualities of each individual child entrusted in our care. We believe in imparting value based education to all our students. Empowerment of each child at all levels by meeting the spiritual, intellectual, psychological and emotional needs of the child is what we strive for.
Our march of progress as a holistic institution has been an impressive one. Our progress is something we can take pride in. In addition to high-quality academics, life at Sharda Vidya Mandir provides a variety of opportunities for all-round development of a child through music, dance, sports, debates, quizzes, computer skills and cultural activities which give an opportunity for students to display their creative ability, develop their interest and grow in confidence. The young generation has to be geared in accepting their responsibility as custodians of this great nation because ours is a young nation, but an ancient civilization.
Today as a young nation we must reach deep into our cultural and social inheritance and draw on our wisdom in responding to the challenges of the day and of the future.
Our hope and aim is to groom our students to be responsible citizens of the country.
By the Grace of Maa Sharda, co-operation of parents, well-wishers, efficient, dedicated and selfless teachers, the school will further strive for excellence and contribute in building a just and humane society.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.
- Martin Luther King Jr,
The goal of education at Sharda Vidya Mandir is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for children to invent and discover, to create individuals who will make a significant contribution to the society as they walk out of the portals of our schools. Since its inception, the school has been able to grow on the sound foundations of good values and the urge to excel. Our effort here is to ensure that our students imbibe the qualities that would help them balance excellence and academics with creativity and compassion.
Our endeavor is to provide the student with the guidelines to shape him into a versatile human being ready to take up all challenges that life throws at him. To achieve this we have a curriculum which initiates an urge to learn within the child and gently guides him to try out untested paths of learning. Ably guided by a faculty which prides itself for grooming some very well turned out scholars, the student in this institution gets the right environment for growth through varied cultural and extracurricular activities.
At this temple of learning, we work as a team, all doing our part with enthusiasm, perseverance, and faith in God. Our results both in the CBSE examinations and other competitions have been excellent and the students are constantly bettering previous performances.
We believe in making a child a happy individual who helps in creating a healthy society.

I feel immensely proud of myself in being a student of SVM which provides a perfect atmosphere for the all-round growth and development.
The faculty is devoted and takes pains to groom and nurture the talent of students.
I cracked KVPY examinations twice in XI & XII class. The credit goes to my teachers.
I secured All India Rank 860 in JEE and at present pursuing my engineering from IIT Bombay.
This is too short a space for me to express the difference SVM has made to me in defining my life but I’d like to thank each and every member of SVM for guiding me and making me who I am.

Sharda Vidya Mandir Oh how do I even start? I took admission here in the 9th standard. The concept of school is to impart education along with the development of the children in a careful manner so that they become responsible citizens of the future. This school does this with full dedication and works as a catalyst in shaping a student's future.
Apart from being excellent on the academic front, the school also provides a platform to students who want to participate in sports and other cultural activities. The school conducts various programs like sports Fiesta and the Annual Function which provides the students an opportunity to express themselves in other fields.
Many competitions like debates, quizzes and other activities are organized so that children overcome their stage fear, the fear of facing the public and keeping their opinion. The school also imparts democratic values among the students by conducting elections for the school cabinet.
The faculty here is amazing and the results speak for themselves...
There are still more things which cannot be expressed in words so Adios Amigos and enjoy your academic journey with SVM...

If I have achieved anything, I owe it to my school. From teaching Vedas to the latest development in science, it provides an excellent opportunity for the holistic, development of a child. To err is human but to learn from them is what my school has taught us.Here teachers give more attention to conceptual clarity rather than making us mug-up. I can never thank them enough for what they have given me or done for me.

Sharda Vidya Mandir, where some of the best memories of my childhood were created. This school is second to none, as it helped me to not only develop my academic skills but also hone my sporting and extracurricular knowledge and abilities. The school laid the very foundation because of which I cracked All India Premedical Test, 2012 with an AIR of 356, and took admissions into one of the most prestigious and oldest medical colleges of our country, The Grant Government Medical Colleges and Sir J.J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. The support of teachers and the school throughout this long journey and till today has been unwavering and indispensable, which can never be repaid. I am Proud to call it my Alma Mater.

When I reflect on one of the best moves of my life, I conclude that it was the admission in SVM, the experience not only made me a better person but also prepared me in unpredictable ways for the upcoming years.
The encouragement coming from all sides can never be underestimated in contributing to a successful being.
SVM's soul has been deepened and enriched by the dignity of work and the respect that comes with it.
Having been shaped in the exhilarating, yet grueling, the environment at SVM, I found myself able to communicate, innovate, and collaborate in ways that enabled me to eventually find a rewarding career in the country's leading private sector bank.
It was the best educational experience I've had.
I wish all the students and teachers of SVM all the best for future endeavors.

Being related to Sharda Vidya Mandir, as a proud parent of Naman Jain has been a great experience for me.
Discipline, sense of sincerity and all-around growth was ensured.
These core values instilled in my son helped him to achieve 309 th AIR rank in JEE 2011. I owe a lot to SVM and wish the school great success and growth in coming years.

I joined SVM in kindergarten and never left until after finishing higher secondary (KG1 to 12th grade). So I consider myself a pure ‘SVMite’ and I am proud to say that. Starting with a rather humble sized primary school in ‘74 Bungalows’ I grew with the school, expanding year after year until it became what it is today, a large academic institution for higher secondary education in Bhopal. After graduating from SVM in 2007, I felt well prepared to face what was up next, and I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I secured an All India Rank 13th in CBSE PMT and found a spot in one of the most prestigious medical school in India, Maulana Azad Medical College (University of Delhi). I decided to move to the US and acquired my Internal Medicine Residency Training at Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA), which is amongst the best hospitals in the US. This is where I first met the love of my life, my wife Gauri! I am currently working as a Staff Physician at the Cleveland Clinic and have recently been nominated for an academic position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. My research interest lies in the field of pulmonary
vascular disease, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary embolism. I have presented my research at major international meetings, and have published my work in various medical journals. To further my clinical and research interests I matched to a fellowship position in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the University of California at San Diego, School of Medicine. After all these years, my parents still live in Bhopal, and I still miss my hometown and my school. I made lots of great friends at SVM, and they are my friends for life, even if today we are oceans apart!
